Let's compare actual specs from their official data:

  • Spider Farmer SF-1000 PPFD (3x3 ft @ 12"): Center: ~1200 umol/m²/s. Corner: ~700 umol/m²/s. This is a difference of ~42%. Great for a single plant.
  • Spider Farmer G5000 PPFD (4x4 ft @ 18"): Center: ~1150 umol/m²/s. Corner: ~900 umol/m²/s. This is a difference of only ~22%. That's a professional-grade uniformity.

If you're selling buds, that corner difference means money. The G5000's bar design (and its integrated GGS smart controller) allows you to dim different zones. Step 3: The 'Nether Wart' Test (or: Using the Wrong Light for the Wrong Crop)
